This week we are facing 4th, but let’s not let what happened at their place happen again, i.e one guy got all of their runs, after us missing an early chance. However the batting was very good against them and we were unlucky to lose by 2 runs after James “smasher” Mabbett went very close to winning it for us. For one week only, we have the worlds heaviest trio Carl, Tim and Mogno who are a combined 60stone of dynamic cricketing skill, waiting to be unleashed..!!
The bowling wasnt too bad last week against Eynsham, I along with the team are still confused as to how they got 197, Steve Yates bowled very well as did David “left arm over” Henson. No one bolwed that badly, perhaps just a little waywood at times. However the batting was another plus point, Tim Lane looking classy against their bowling attack and sending the ball to all parts of the ground, EVEN off Pinky..!!
With even more firepower this weekend, please someone get that elusive century and hopefully the 300 on the board.. 😉
