23rd August, Swindon Civil Service, Home – Win

With England on the verge of winning the Ashes, we had a match against Swindon Civil Service. Remarkably, both sides managed to get a full team out and took to the field with the sun shining on a hard and dry wicket. Swindon had won the toss and had decided to bat. And bat they did. Match Report – V – Hanney

15/08/09 -  Away to Hanney. By Ean Challand. We started the game again with only ten men – Toby once again arriving a few minutes after everyone else, but without the traffic as an excuse! It didn’t matter though, as Ryan and Duncan both bowled good opening spells and we had Hanney 3 down whilst keeping it nice and tight. Hi All.. Just to inform those that dont already know, yesterdays game was called off due to the amount of rain, the pitch was unplayable, with more rain on the way. It was a shame that the game was called off, as we could of closed the gap against a team we have already beaten comfortably earlier this year, but no worries still 5 games to go.
